Dislocated Shoulder
It's dark and Kate bends over the ground."What are you doing?" Juliet asks.
"Whoever dragged us out here left a trail. It'll lead us back to where we came from. Let's go." Kate walks, but Juliet doesn't and the handcuffs are yanked.
"It's going to rain, don't you think we should wait until morning?"
"No," Kate says, and tugs on the handcuffs, dragging Juliet behind her.
Later, as they walk side by side, Kate says, "Why would they handcuff you to me and then drag us all the way out here into the jungle?"
"Ben has a thing for mind games," Juliet says.
"Is that why he left you behind?"
"Do we really have to talk?"
"Nope."
It starts to rain and Kate says, "Come on, if the trail gets wet, I'll lose it."
Juliet doesn't budge and says, "I hope you're not dragging me all the way back there for him."
"Excuse me?"
"I hope you're not going back for Jack, because I was standing right there when he told you not to come back, and now that you've ruined his chance to get off the island--"
Kate punches Juliet and they both fall to the ground. They fight and Kate pulls Juliet's arm behind her back. "You done?" Kate yells. "I said are you done?"
Juliet's shoulder comes out of it's socket. She screams and Kate says, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to--"
They hear sounds of the monster and Juliet screams, "What the hell is that?"
"Get up!" Kate yells.
"You dislocated my shoulder."
"Get up!"
They run through the jungle with noises of the monster following them.
"In here!" Kate leads them into a shelter of trees.
"What the hell--"
Kate puts a hand over Juliet's mouth.
The monster gets closer, then flashes them with lights and goes away.
"Are we safe?" Juliet asks.
Nice Sawyer
Claire cares for Aaron as Sawyer and Hurley watch a little ways away."I ain't kissing no baby," Sawyer says.
"Claire's really influential. If she votes for you to stay, you're home free."
"Well why wouldn't she vote me? It's not like I ever did anything bad to her."
"Nah," Hurley says, "but you haven't done anything good for her either. And have you ever even asked how Aaron is?"
"Well I know how he is. He cries loud and he smells."
"You see, that's what I'm talking about. You're sarcastic. People don't like that."
"Alright, so I go over and what?"
"Moms love it when you show interest in their babies. So go over there, call her Claire, and give her this." He hands Sawyer a blanket. "I know you can do it, Dude."
He walks over and says, "Hey, Claire." He looks at the baby and says, "Hey, there, little baby...Aaron."
Claire wants to know if there is anything she can do for him.
"No, I just came by to say your baby is not as wrinkly as he was a couple of weeks ago."
Claire laughs. "Yeah, I guess he's not. Thank you."
"Oh and this is for you." He hands her the blanket. "I don't like blankets."
He says good night and walks away. He looks over at Hurley and Hurley gives him a thumbs up.
Jack's Broken Heart
"Is it gone? Are we safe?" Juliet asks."Are you serious?" Kate asks. "You've never seen that?"
"You don't believe me, you can always pull my other shoulder out of it's socket."
"I wasn't trying to--"
"Don't flatter yourself," Juliet says. "This is the fourth time it's been dislocated." She gets up and repositions herself. "Give me your hand. I want you to pop it back in."
Kate says no and Juliet says, "Right now it feels like there's broken glass under my skin, and if it weren't for you, I would be on my way home right now."
"Jack told me not to come to protect me, because he didn't want me to get hurt."
"Is that what you think?" Juliet asks.
"Yeah, that's what I think!"
"We have cameras on the cages, Kate. All of them. He saw you. You and Sawyer. The reason Jack told you not to come back wasn't because he didn't want you to get hurt. It was because you broke his heart. So, grab my wrist, push up and twist."With tears in her eyes, Kate pops Juliet shoulder back in. Juliet screams.
