Episode 14, Season 3 Recap - Expose

Nikki pole dances and strips while men hold money. She watches a man go into a room.

She follows him and sees that he has opened a case of money. "No," she says, "that's the money for the orphanage." Billy Dee Williams turns his chair around and she says, "That means, Mr. LaShade, you're The Cobra," Nikki says.

"Sorry, baby, it was just business."

"All this time it was you," she says.

"Pretty and smart," Billy Dee says. "What a shame."

She looks at the man next to her who pulls a gun. She yells, "Razzle dazzle," and kicks the gun out of his hand. Billy Dee shoots her twice and she goes down. He stands up and goes around his desk and shoots her again. Two girls come in.

"Autumn, Crystal, bad news, Corvette was working for The Cobra. But fear not, he will pay."

"And cut," someone says and snaps a clap board that says Expose.

"Here, let me give you a hand," Billy Dee says and helps Nikki up.

She thanks him and says it was so great working with him.

"Alright," the director says, "that's a series wrap for Corvette. Let's hear it for Nikki."

People cheer.

As he walks her out, the director says, "You know you don't need to die. We can bring you back next season."

She laughs and says, "How?"

"We could say that Corvette was wearing a bullet proof vest."

She opens her costume to show him that she's barely wearing any clothes.

"Bullet proof breast," he says.

"Look," Nikki says, "I'm just a guest star and we all know what happens to guest stars."

"Now that your work is done here, I suppose that you'll be leaving Sydney and heading back to L.A."

"No, I'm not leaving Sydney," she says. "I love you."

"It's my new chef," Howie says. "He's fantastic. Paulo, come in here."

Paulo comes in in a chef's uniform, carrying some rolls. "Paulo, my boy, you have a new fan. I'd like you to meet Nikki."

"You're too kind," Paulo says. "The secret is the shaved truffles. Lucky for you they're in season."

"You know," she says in a stage whisper, "you should ask for a raise."

Paulo goes back into the kitchen and Howie says that Paulo showed up outside the studio every day until Howie hired him as his chef. "Apparently back home, he's the Wolfgang Puck of Brazil."

Howie wants her to try a homemade roll, but she declines. He insists and when she picks up the roll she finds a diamond bracelet.

"It's beautiful. Howie, you shouldn't have."

"I realize that it's not a ring. Not yet. But when my wife--" Howie looks to be in pain. Nikki yells for Paulo and he comes in and says that Howie is dead.

Nikki reaches down and rips open Howie's shirt and pulls a pearl necklace with a key on it from his neck. "I would have loved it if you could have figured out a way so that I didn't have to eat the same food as him.

They go into a walk-in closet and Nikki opens a safe.

"Nobody else knows about this thing?" Paulo says.

"Everything in here is way off the books," Nikki says.

Paulo puts a cigarette into his mouth, but before he can light it, Nikki grabs it away. "Ashes are evidence, Paulo. We poisoned him, let's not poison ourselves."
