Episode 4x12, There's No Place Like Home Part 1 - Flash Forward 3Her pregnancy showing, Sun takes a deep breath and goes up several stairs in the Paik building.
In his office, Sun's father is speaking with two men. "How could this happen?"
"Whoever did it, sir, used five different banks."
"Get Yoon up here, right now!" Mr. Paik says. "Now!"
The men leave.
Sun walks over. "Hello, father. I hope I'm not interrupting."
"No, it's just business," he says.
"Is something wrong?"
"Just some complications with the company. Nothing you'd understand. How is the pregnancy?"
"Don't pretend to be interested in my baby. We both know you hated my husband."
"What did you say?"
"You heard me. You hated Jin."
He stands. "Who do you think you are? I am your father. You will respect me!"
Sun steps toward him. "Oceanic paid us our settlement for the crash. It was very significant. This morning, I bought a controlling interest in your company. So you will now respect me."
"Why would you do this?"
"You ruined my husband's life! It is because of you we were on that plane. Two people are responsible for his death. You are one of them."
Mr Paik sits.
Sun says, "I am going to have my baby. And then we shall discuss the plans for the future of the company. Our company."
Sun's Pregnancy
Episode 4x7, Ji Yeon - Flash Forward 1Sun packs a bag while a TV plays in another room. She is about to put lipstick on and gets a pain. It passes and she continues, but gets another. She calls emergency services and tells them that she's pregnant and she thinks something is wrong.
Just Get Jin!
Episode 4x7, Ji Yeon - Flash Forward 2A nurse wheels Sun into the hospital. The nurse tells another nurse that Sun is one of the Oceanic Six. Once Sun is in bed, the nurse takes off Sun's jewelry. When she tries to take off her wedding ring, Sun says, "Stop! What are you doing?"
"We remove all jewelry. It's for the swelling."
"No, not my ring!"
The doctor walks in and says, "I'm Dr. Bae. I'm on duty for Dr. Park."
"Where is he? What's happening?" Sun says.
"He's away at a conference." He tells the nurse to give Sun something for her pain. After the nurse injects her, Dr. Bae pushes on Sun's stomach.
"Is something wrong with my baby?"
"It's in distress."
"What's wrong?"
"That's what I'm going to find out. Is there anyone we should contact? Your husband? Your parents?"
"Just get Jin, my husband, Jin. Just get Jin."
"I'll try to reach him," the doctor says.
Sun fades and says, "Just get Jin."
"I'm sure he will be here soon," the doctor says.
It's a Girl
Episode 4x7, Ji Yeon - Flash Forward 3Sun cries in pain and the doctor says he has to perform a C-section.
"No," she says.
"You don't understand," he says. "The medication makes a natural birth difficult."
"No, no! Not until Jin-"
"We've got to get to surgery!"
"Where's my husband?"
"He's not here yet. We cannot wait."
Sun sees a man outside and calls to Jin, but it's not him. The nurse says that the baby is crowning. The doctor looks and says, "Okay, Sun, you need to push now."
She hesitates and then pushes. "You did it!" the doctor says. "Congratulations. You have a baby daughter." He gives her the baby.
Ji Yeon
Episode 4x7, Ji Yeon - Flash Forward 4Sun puts on her wedding ring. She is dressed nicely and applies lipstick. The doorbell rings and she opens the door. It's Hurley, wearing a suit. They hug.
"I can't believe you came all this way."
"You kidding? Is anyone else coming?"
"No."
"Good. So, where is she?"
Sun takes him over to see the baby and he looks at her and says, "She's awesome."
Sun picks her up. "Would you like to hold her?"
"I don't know. I kind of have two left hands."
"I trust you." Sun hands him the baby.
"Wow," he says. "She looks just like Jin."
"Yeah, she does."
Hurley hands the baby back to Sun and says, "So, I guess we should go see him."
"Of course," Sun says and they go to a cemetery.
In front of a tombstone, Sun kneels with the baby. "Jin, you were right. It's a girl. The delivery was hard on me. The doctor said I was calling out for you. I wish you could've been there. Jin, she's beautiful. Ji Yeon. I named her just like you wanted."
Down the left side of the tombstone is 1980 3 20 (which is probably Sun's birth date). Down the right side is 1974 11 27 and 2004 9 22 (Jin's listed birth and death dates).
"I miss you so much," Sun says. "I miss you so much." She cries.
Charles Widmore
Episode 4x13, There's No Place Like Home Part 2 - Flash Forward 5Sun walks down a street and pulls out her cell phone. It's her mother, saying that Ji Yeon would like to talk to her. Ji Yeon says, "Mama, mama."
Sun says, "Hello, my love."
Sun's mom gets back on the phone and Sun tells her that she's in London, just finishing up some business.
She sees Charles Widmore and walks up to him. "Excuse me, Mr. Widmore?"
"Yes?"
"I'm Sun Kwon, Mr. Paik's daughter. I'm the managing director of Paik Industries."
"Yes. How is your father?"
"Excellent, thank you."
"Quite the golfer. I believe I owe him dinner after our last game."
"Are you really going to pretend that you don't know who I am?"
"I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about, Mrs. Kwon."
"Yes you do know, Mr. Widmore. Just like you know we've been lying all this time about where we were and what happened to us there. You and I have common interests." She hands him a business card. "When you're ready to talk about them, call me. As you know, we're not the only ones who left the island." She walks away.
"Mrs. Kwon, why would you want to help me?"
She walks away with tears in her eyes.
Kill Benjamin Linus
Episode 5x1, Because You LeftSun checks in at the airport. She is taken to a room, where Charles Widmore talks to her. He wants to know what the common interests were that she had spoken to him about in London. She said to kill Benjamin Linus.
