I Did It For You
Episode 3x15, Left Behind - Flashback Scene 5Diane serves Cassidy something in a bowl at the diner.
"Thank you," Cassidy says.
"You're welcome, sweetheart."
Diane walks away and Cassidy moves the bowl to the edge of the table. As Diane walks by, Cassidy pushes the bowl so that it spills on Diane. She apologizes and calls herself an idiot.
Diane says it's okay, it happens all the time. Diane goes into the bathroom to clean up.
"Hi, Mom," Kate says.
"What are you doing here, Katherine?"
"You look good."
"I asked you what you are doing here."
"I want to know why you told them what I did to Wayne."
"I thought maybe you came because you wanted to say you're sorry."
"I'm not sorry! He hit you! He treated you like a dog and you--"
"You can't help who you love, Katherine, and for good or bad, I loved him and you burnt him alive. You turned on the gas and you lit a match. You murdered him in cold blood."
"I did it for you."
"No, what you did, you did for yourself. I have to go back to work. Because you are my daughter I'm not going to tell the two men sitting at the table who've been following me for the last month that you are here. But I swear to God, Katie, if I ever see you again, the first thing I will do is yell for help." She says bye and walks out.
Kate cries.
Cassidy's Pregnant
Episode 3x15, Left Behind - Flashback Scene 6Cassidy drives Kate back to her car. "Thanks for everything, Cassidy," Kate says.
"You got it," Cassidy says.
"So," Kate says, "this guy who ripped you off, you going to give me his name, tell me where I can find him?"
She doesn't say anything and Kate says, "You almost got arrested for me, Cassidy. I want to help you."
"I'm pregnant. It's his. The baby is his. And I still love him."
"So call the cops. Have him locked up."
"Will you ever forgive your mom for calling the cops?"
"No. No, I won't."
Cassidy nods. "Thanks, Lucy."
"My name's Kate." They smile at each other and Kate gets out.
Open the Door
Episode 3x6, I Do - Flashback Scene 1Kate walks down a hallway, carrying a bag. She goes into a hotel room and takes a box out of the bag. Inside the box is a veil.
A knock at the door and the man on the other side says it's the police. Someone dangerous might be in the hotel and they are doing a room to room search.
"I'm alone, officer," she says.
"The person could be holding you at gun point forcing you to say that. Now open this door."
"I don't think I should," she says.
"You've got three seconds before I break this door down. One, two-"
Kate opens the door and the officer says, "Hey, want to get it on?"
Kate laughs. "Hell, yeah." She jumps into his arms.
Full of Regret
Episode 3x6, I Do - Flashback Scene 2Kate is in bed with the officer. She says, "You shouldn't have come here."
He says she's right and sarcastically says, "I'm full of regret right now."
She laughs and says, "Seriously. It's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding."
"It's bad luck to see the bride in her dress before the wedding. You, my friend, are naked." He looks at the wedding dress hanging by the door. "Have you tried it on?"
"I had to hold my breath to get the claspy things to clasp. So, I'm waiting until the absolute last minute."
"Well, it's in about 12 hours. You might want to get clasping."
Kate looks a little anxious and he says, "Hey, I know it's been fast. This is right. I know it's real. And I love you, Monica."
"I love you too, Kevin."
Wedding Day
Episode 3x6, I Do - Flashback Scene 3Wearing a wedding dress, Kate studies herself in the mirror. A knock at the door and a woman comes in. "Oh sweetheart," she says, "you look absolutely beautiful."
Kate smiles. "How is it out there?"
"There are a lot of excited policemen. Don't worry, I've asked them not to shoot their guns in the air when you say I do."
Kate laughs. "You know, mothers-in-law aren't supposed to be so nice."
"Um, Monica, I have something for you." She hands Kate a necklace.
"Suzanne, you shouldn't have," Kate says.
"My mother gave me that on my wedding day. She told me someday I'd give it to my daughter, but since I had four boys, here."
Kate puts it on. "It's perfect."
Later, Kate and Kevin stand before a minister as people look on. "You know," the minister says, "Kevin's been coming to church here since he was about yay high. When I first met you, Monica, I was struck by your honesty and your devotion to Kevin. When I asked him what he loved most about you, he said, 'That what you see is what you get.' That being said, you've got your rings, vowed your vows. I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
They kiss and then walk back down the aisle as everyone claps. Kate looks really happy.
