Flashbacks in Italics
Sun and Claire sit on the beach. Sun mentions that it's been four days since the raft left and Claire assures her that Michael knows what he's doing and Jin is sure to be okay. Sun glances at her hand, then starts looking around, speaking in Korean. Claire keeps asking what's wrong, but she can't understand Sun, until she says in English, "My wedding ring. It's gone."
Sun's Flashback - No Husband
Sun looks very pretty in a nice dress with her hair pinned back. Her mother comes in and says, "You're not planning on wearing that, are you?"Sun doesn't see anything wrong with what she is wearing. Her mother sees her heels and takes them away. "He might be shorter than you." She gives Sun a low heeled shoe.
"This is ridiculous, Mother," Sun says.
Her mother tells her that if she'd found a husband in college they wouldn't need a matchmaker and Sun remarks that she went to college to get a degree. Sun says she'll find a husband when the time is right. Her mother says, "Your father says the time is now."
Jin's Flashback - Love
Jin gets ready for a job interview. He plans to work hard and get promoted so that he'll be respected, instead of just being a fisherman's son. Jin is wearing an expensive tie, but leaves the tag on so he can return it after the interview.Jin's friend is reading a Korean destiny book and says that this is Jin's year to find love. Jin doesn't buy into it. His friend says to look out for the color orange and that is when he will find his love.
Tailies - Moving Out
The five Tailies talk amongst themselves. Jin looks sad and Michael tells him that he'll be with Sun again soon. He wakes up Sawyer and says, "I think they're trying to figure out what to do with us.""I think they're going to eat us," Sawyer says.Ana-Lucia says, "All of you, get up. We're moving out. You're going to help us get food and water because we have a long walk ahead of us."
"A long walk where?" Sawyer asks.
"Back to where you came from," she says.
They go out of the bunker. Sawyer whispers to Michael that they should stage a prison break, but Michael wants to figure what's going on before they make any decisions about anything.
"Okay, people, listen up," Ana-Lucia says. "We need to gather as much food and water as we can. You travel in pairs. You move as fast as you can. Don't make any noise."
Michael says, "Maybe you could just take a minute to explain to us what is going on over here that's got you all so on edge."
"You know what?" Ana-Lucia says sarcastically. "That's a great idea, maybe we can swap stories on the road."
Ana-Lucia starts giving out orders. The big guy goes on ahead to scout with Cindy. Ana-Lucia sends Michael with Libby to gather fruit. Ana-Lucia, Bernard, and Jin will fish.
