Replay

We again see the scene inside the hatch where Jack and Desmond have a standoff with Locke in the middle.

Locke's Flashback - Therapy

Locke is in an anger managment therapy meeting. A woman is complaining that her mother stole thirty bucks.

Locke says that the woman feels too much and that he didn't even know who his parents were. He explains that a couple of years ago his birth mother found him and told him he was special. Through her he met his real father.

"Great news, right?" Locke says. "Well, he pretended to love me just long enough to steal my kidney because he had to have a transplant. And then he dropped me back in the world like a piece of trash, just like he did on the day that I was born. You want your damned 30 dollars back? I want my kidney back!"
After the meeting, a woman who had also been in the meeting introduces herself as Helen. She talks to Locke, realizing that he won't be coming back next week. They have a nice chat and she says she likes bald guys. He says he's not bald and she says she can wait.

Kate Saves the Day or Ends the World

Jack asks where Kate is. Kate lowers herself into a gun vault and gets a shotgun. She sneaks up behind Desmond and hits him in the back with the gun. Desmond's gun fires as he goes down.

Jack holds Desmond down and Locke tells him not to do anything to Desmond because he's unarmed.

Desmond looks up and sees that the smoking computer was hit by the bullet.

"What did you do?" Desmond screams. "We're all going to die. We're all going to die!"
Jack wants to know what Desmond is talking about. Desmond points out the timer on the wall and says that it's counting down and he has to enter the code and push the button. Locke tells Jack to let Desmond up, but Jack just says, "Don't tell me what to do!"

Jack turns Desmond over and Desmond says, "Do I know you?"

Jack asks Kate if she's got Desmond covered and she nods. He lets Desmond up to go to the computer. Locke stares at Jack and Jack says, "What?"

"Nothing, Jack," Locke says.

Locke's Flashback - Locke Leaves

Helen is asleep in bed and Locke is up, putting on his shoes. Helen wakes and asks what he's doing. Locke apologizes, but he has trouble sleeping in strange beds and it has nothing to do with her and he really likes her.

Later, Locke is sitting in a parked car, drinking coffee. He is surprised when his father opens the passenger door and gets in. "John," Anthony says, "I know you like to drive through my neighborhood and I know that every now and then you like to park outside my house. Now, I thought it might all stop when I moved, but here you are. I admit, at first I thought it was funny, now it's just annoying. So how about you tell me what the hell it is you want."

Locke asks, "Why?"

Anthony says there is no why and that Locke is not the first person to ever get conned. He needed a father figure and Anthony needed a kidney. "Get over it," he tells Locke. "And don't come back. You're not wanted."
