Hurley Busted

Hurley packs food into a bag. Libby comes up behind him and says, "Hey there."

Hurley says, "This isn't what it looks like."

"And what does it look like?"

"It looks like something that it's not. Oh man, I'm so busted."

"Hurley," she says, "I'm not here to tell you how to act around food."

"No, I'm not busted for that. I'm busted for something else. I was packing a picnic because I was kind of hoping you'd want to go with me as an 'Us' thing. But it was supposed to be a surprise."

"Really?" she says. "That's very sweet."

"So you want to go?"

She smiles and brushes some hair from his face and nods.

Guns

Jack cleans medical supplies, while Locke sits behind him looking at a big book. Ana-Lucia comes in and says, "Hey, you're back. So the Others, they didn't show up?"

Jack shakes his head. "Michael's back though."

She looks at Michael and Jack sees the cut on her head. "What happened here?"

Locke says, "My fault. I left the tap on in the bathroom sink and Ana wiped out and hit her head on the counter."

Kate calls for Jack. "I think he's waking up."

Michael says, "Jack." Jack explains that they found him in the jungle.

Michael says, "I found them. After I left, I hiked North, back to where we were," he says to Ana-Lucia. "I hiked to the beach, followed the shoreline. A day later, I saw one."

"What did he look like?" Locke asks.

"Dirty, no shoes on, simple, just like the rest of them."

"The rest of them?" Jack asks.

"Yeah," Michael says, "his people. The Others. I followed him back to his camp. They live in tents! Canvas tents and teepees. They eat dried fish. They're worse of than we are. I counted twenty-two."

"And the boat?" Jack asks.

"I didn't see it."

"Did you see Walt?" Jack asks.

"No," Michael says, "but I know he's there."

"What about everyone else they took?" Ana-Lucia asks. "Cindy? Did you see any other kids?"

"No, no. No kids," Michael says. "But I think they're in the same place as my boy. They have a hatch."

"How do you know that they didn't-?" Jack asks.

"There's a set of metal doors leading into the ground. What else could it be?" Michael says.

"And you think that's where they're keeping the kids?" Jack says.

"They keep it guarded 24/7. Two guards and two guns and that's the only guns I've seen. Some of them are old and half of them are woman. I couldn't save him. So I came back to tell you. Tell you that we can take them. Soon as I get my strength back I will take you back there and we are going to get my boy back."

Later, Jack tells Locke, "You were right."

"Right about what?"

"About Henry. What you and Sayid did to him when you first found him, you were right. I don't like how you did it, but I shouldn't have gotten in the way."

"You just did what you thought was right at the time you did it, Jack. I just hope that the next time you decide to do something, you include me. And something tells me that's going to be soon."

"You heard Michael. We can take them."

"Our friend with the beard told us not to cross the line."

"These people are liars, John, why the hell should we take their word on anything?"

"I couldn't agree more. So, now what?"

Locke and Jack start preparing and Ana-Lucia and Kate look up. "Where you going?" Kate asks.

Jack says, "To get our guns from Sawyer. We're going to need you to help convince him."

Kate looks toward the bedroom and says, "Who's going to take care of Michael?"

"I'll stay," Ana-Lucia says. "You guys go ahead."

"You sure?" Jack asks.

"Give Sawyer my best," she says and they leave. She stares at the armory door.

Lost Hurley

Hurley and Libby walk through the jungle and she says, "You ever watch the Flintstones?"

He says, "Sure. I used to watch it all the time when I was in the hospital." A look of panic crosses his face and he says, "When I broke my hip."

"Well," she says, "did you ever notice how Fred would run by the same thing over and over again?" She points, "Third time past this tree."

"Uh, that's a different tree," Hurley says.

She sighs and says, "Hurley, it's okay to say you're lost."

"We're not lost, okay? We're just about to walk onto the most excellent secret beach on the island. And surprise!"

"Uh, Hurley," she says, "this is our beach. There's Jin."

Hurley is crestfallen and she says, "Hey, tell you what. Why don't we have the picnic here. Come on, give me the blankets."

"Blankets?" Hurley asks.

"You don't have any blankets? How about drinks?"

He gives her a blank look. She says, "I'll take care of the blankets, you find Rose and Bernard. I saw them pull wine from the pallets."

"Wine, groovy. Hey maybe if I get drunk enough I'll remember where I know you from."
