As Dave and Hurley walk through the jungle, Dave says, "The real Dave, the one they told you was imaginary, he went out that window. Right now he's probably bouncing around from hot chick to hot chick. I'm part of your subconscience, man, all the people on the island are."

"What part of me are you?" Hurley asks.

"I'm the part of you that wants to wake up. Follow me, man."

Dave takes him to a cliff. "This is it, Dude, the big finale. The answer to all your problems. The way for you to wake up."

"I don't want to kill myself."

"Who said anything about killing yourself, man? This is going to bring you back to life. The only way for you to bust out is to tell your mind that you don't believe any of this."

"So if I?" he looks over the cliff. "All of this will be gone? I'll wake up?"

"That's right. And when you do wake up, come find me."

Dave stands at the edge of the cliff smiling at Hurley. He leans back and falls off the cliff. Hurley yells, "Dave!" Dave laughs on the way down, then splashes in the ocean.

Locke and Ana-Lucia

Ana-Lucia sits on the couch, messing with a hand gun. Locke comes over on his crutches and says, "Jack not back yet?"

"Nope," she says. "He's telling everyone at the beach that we've got one of them. Something tells me that people have a lot of questions for our house guest."

"I want to talk to him," Locke says.

"I don't think that's on today's program," Ana-Lucia says.

"Well, all due respect, Ana-Lucia, but I don't care what you think." The two have a stare down and Locke says, "Five minutes. I've earned five minutes with him."

Didn't Input the Numbers

"What's your name? Your real name?" Locke asks non-Henry.

"Why don't you just keep calling me Henry," he says. "I've gotten used to it."

"Did you get caught on purpose? You and your people have been here for God knows how long and you got caught in a net-"

"God doesn't know how long we've been here, John. He can't see this island any better than the rest of the world can," non-Henry says. "May I ask you a question?"

Locke nods.

"What possible reason would I have for putting myself through all of this?"

"Maybe," Locke says, "your people were looking for this place."

"This place? This place is a joke, John."

"What are you talking about?"

"I crawled through the vents and I stood at your computer as the alarm beeped. And you know what happened? The timer went all the way down to zero and then some funny red pictures flipped up in their place. And then things got real interesting. There was a loud clunking and hum. Like a big magnet. It was really very frightening. And you know what happened next? Nothing happened, John. Nothing at all. Your timer just flipped back to 108. I never entered the numbers. I never pressed the button."

"You're lying," Locke says.

"No, I'm done lying."

Mega Cute Blond

Hurley looks over the cliff, yelling for Dave. "Who's Dave?" Hurley turns around to see Libby.

"What are you doing here?" he asks.

"What are you doing here?" she counters.

"How'd you know where I was?"

"Jin saw you while he was fishing."

"Ha!" Hurley says, "Jin doesn't speak English."

"Sun was with him. She translated. Hurley, what is going on?"

"No! You're just a part of me that's scared. You don't want me to wake up. But guess what, I'm not scared."

Libby says he's having a panic attack and this isn't like him. He says she doesn't know him.

"I was starting to," she says.

"Did you know that I'm so fat that I killed two people? And that I have an imaginary friend? This isn't real. This isn't real life."

"Why would you say that?"

"Because in real life no girl like you would ever like me. You remember when I said I knew you from somewhere. Well maybe it's because I made you up."

Libby walks up to him and says, "What was the man's name who broke his leg the day of the crash on the other side of the island? You don't know. You know why? Because it happened to me. His name was Donald and I buried him. I buried a lot of people, Hurley, so don't tell me that that wasn't real. And don't tell me you made me up. It's insulting."

"When you saw me on the beach this morning, was I holding a slipper?"

"Not that I can remember, no," Libby says. She grabs Hurley's face and says, "I am real. You're real. The way I feel about you, that's real." She kisses him. "And that was real."

"Maybe you should do it one more time, just to be sure," he says.

She does and then says, "Ready to go back?"

He looks down the cliff one more time, then they walk away, holding hands. "You really think I can, you know, change?" Hurley asks.

"Yeah," she says, "Yeah I do."

Libby's Flashback

Dr. Brooks tells Hurley, "Why don't you get a little closer?" as he gets ready to take the bulletin board picture. Hurley puts his arm around the air. The camera pans back to a scraggly looking woman. The nurse sets some meds down, "Here's your medication, Libby."
