Locke's Flashback - Jimmy Bane
Locke opens safety deposit box 1516. He looks around nervously. He opens the box and finds money. He looks it over, then stuffs it in his bag.Back at his house, he comes in the front door and says, "Honey, put on your Sunday best. I am taking you out!"
He kisses her and she says, "John, we have visitors."
Locke turns around to see the two guys he had seen at the funeral.
"These men said they knew your father," she says.
One of the men says, "Hi John, I'm Jimmy Bane."
"I'm sure Helen told you I didn't really know him," Locke says.
"She told us," Jimmy says. "I'd like to ask you a couple of questions if that's okay."
Locke says okay and the man asks if he's seen his father since the funeral. Locke acts like he doesn't know what Jimmy is talking about and Jimmy says that his father might not be dead.
Helen gets upset and says that he has no idea what Locke's father did to him.
Jimmy says Locke didn't look too shook up at the funeral and Helen says they were there to get past it so that they could move on with their lives.
Locke tells Helen it's okay and moves her to the side. Jimmy says he'll leave, but just one more thing, "What's in the bag, John?"
"Work papers and stuff," Locke says. "I'm a home inspector."
The two men want to take a look. Locke seems unsure, but hands him the bag. The second man dumps out the contents onto the table. It's all work stuff.
"Well, there you go," Jimmy says, and they leave.
Locke apologizes to Helen and asks if she's okay.
"Were you lying to those men, John?"
"No," Locke says. "I was scared."
She hugs him.
Sawyer Deals From the Bottom
"So where'd you learn to play cards, Jack?" Sawyer asks."Phuket."
"What the hell were you doing in Thailand?" Sawyer deals. Jack doesn't respond so he continues. "What? You don't think I know where Phuket is? Just because I dropped out in 9th grade don't make me an idiot. Far East, huh? I wouldn't have taken you for a world traveler. That where you got the art on your shoulder?"
Jack tells him to deal again, this time from the top of the deck. Sawyer chuckles and says, "Well, I had to try."
Henry Needs to Push the Button
Henry is looking down at Locke, "What does it do?""We're not exactly sure," Locke says.
"And you push it?"
"Every 108 minutes, yes," Locke says.
"How soon until this alarm goes off?"
Locke tells him very soon so he needs him to crawl up through the grate. Henry says it's bolted shut, he already tried. Locke tells him there is another grate in the pantry. He tells him to crawl through the vent to the dome.
Henry thinks they should wait for someone else, but Locke says they can't wait, the timer will go off any minute. Henry asks what to do once he's inside.
Locke tells him to enter the numbers, "4 8 15 16 23 42. Then you press 'execute'. It has to be exactly those numbers in exactly that order."
Henry repeats the numbers back. Locke tells him to go.
Henry goes to the pantry. Locke tells him to be careful and as Henry climbs up a shelf, the shelf breaks and he falls to the floor. "Henry?" Locke yells.
The timer alarm begins to beep and Locke yells for Henry.
Jack Is All In
Kate and Hurley watch from afar as Jack and Sawyer continue their game. Hurley looks through binoculars and Libby asks what's going on.Hurley says, "Jack and Sawyer are finally going to beat each other up."
"Ten mangoes," Jack says to Sawyer.
Sawyer says, "I'll raise you aspirin and a bottle of amoxicillian."
"Do you even know what amoxicillian is?" Jack asks.
"You may have been to Phuket," Sawyer says, "but I've been to Tallahassee. Let's just say something was burning and it wasn't from the sunshine."Jack says, "I'm all in."
"That sounds like a man who wants me to lay it down."
"You're not going to lay it down," Jack says.
"Why not?"
"Because there's a bunch of people over there and you don't want them to see you lose...again."
"Well alright," Sawyer says. "I call."
Jack wins and says he'll come get the meds later.
Sawyer asks why Jack asked for the medicine instead of the guns. Jack says, "When I need the guns, I'll get the guns."
Locke Yells for Henry
Locke yells for Henry. Henry starts to get up and asks what happened. Locke tells him to get into the vent. Henry wants to know how long he was out, but Locke says he has to go right now. They're running out of time.Henry crawls through the vents. The more insistent timer alarm sounds and Locke yells for Henry. He tries to lift the door off his legs.
