Sun's Flashback - Oh Baby
Sun, wearing a negligee, checks herself in a mirror. In Korean Jin says, "Are you coming to bed?"Sun, looking nervous, says, "I'll be right there." She walks into the bedroom and Jin tells her she looks great and to turn around. She does a spin for him and then climbs into bed.
"Did you take your temperature?" Jin asks."Isn't that romantic?" Sun says sarcastically.
Jin apologizes but thinks since they have been trying to have a baby for over a year without success that they should see a fertility doctor. Sun says, "Why do you care so much about a baby you wouldn't even see?"
"Don't blame my work, Sun. I work so we can-"
"Work?" Sun says. "When a man comes home with blood on his hands that isn't work."
"And why do you think I come home with blood on my hands? I have blood on my hands because of your father. Because of what he makes me do!"
Sun starts to cry and Jin gets out of bed and goes to the window. Jin apologizes to Sun and says, "Maybe if we had a baby your father might change his mind. Maybe if we gave him a grandchild he might give me a safer job.
Sun Doesn't Need Protection
As Sun works alone in her garden, she is startled by rustling in the bushes. Jin steps out and she is relieved. Jin is angry, saying, "Do you know how long I've been looking for you? What are you doing out here?"Sun says that she's working in her garden and Jin says they are going back. Sun says no and Jin grabs her arm, but she jerks away. Jin says, the Others attacked you here! We talked about this! Let's go. Now!"
"I don't need you to protect me. I'm just working in my garden."
"What?" Jin says. "'My' garden?" He rips up most of the garden. Sun begs him to stop. "Now you have no reason to be out here," he says. "Shall we go back now?"
Sun pushes past and walks ahead of him.
Locke Gets Ana-Lucia's Help
Ana-Lucia runs as fast as she can along the beach and to her tent. She sees Locke sitting in front of her tent, eating a banana. "You were running like the devil's chasing you," he says."Maybe he is," Ana-Lucia says. She wants to know what Locke wants.
Locke says, "We've got a man locked up down in the hatch. There's a possibility he's one of them, the Others."
"How long has he been down there?" she asks.
"Three days. I'd like you to talk with him. You have experience with the Others. You were a cop. Seems to me you're the most qualified to figure out if this man's telling the truth."
She wants to know if Jack knows that Locke is coming to her and he says, "We've got a serious problem, Ana-Lucia. I'm taking the necessary steps to solve it. I don't need Jack's permission to talk with you, because right now there's a man sitting in a room in my hatch and I want him out."
Sun's Pain
Sun stops by a tree and hunches over in pain. Rose and Bernard walk nearby, arguing, and they notice Sun and hurry toward her. Sun says that she's fine, just a little lightheaded.Rose tells Sun not to pay attention to Bernard, that he's just mad at the world because he forgot Rose's birthday. Bernard claims that he didn't forget, but that he doesn't even know what day of the week it is.
Rose says, "It's Saturday, Bernard." She asks Sun if she can walk.
Sun says she's fine, but Bernard suggests they get Jin. Sun is adamant that she is fine.
