Flashbacks in Italics

Locke opens the armory and Jack carries guns inside. Locke asks if that's all of the guns and Jack says it's all six of them plus one box of ammo. Jack notices the Virgin Mary statues and Locke says it's Charlie's stash. He kept them for therapeutic value, if it ever comes to that.

Jack asks for the combination to the vault and Locke hesitates.

Locke says, "I'm going to go ahead and assume that you're asking me because you're worried that I might fall off a cliff or something. That it would be irresponsible for just one of us to have access to this room, rather than this being an issue of trust."
They agree that both should have the combination and that they should consult each other before opening the door. Locke gives him the combo and asks him to consider locking the medicine inside also. Jack asks why.

Sawyer's Stash

Sawyer comes to his tent to find Charlie building a shelter nearby.
"Well, well," Sawyer says, "now look who had to relocate to the suburbs. Ain't that just like a woman? She keeps the house and you get the cheap-ass apartment."
Sawyer is happy that now there is someone in camp more hated than he is. He continues to bait Charlie.

Charlie says, "Shouldn't you be more worried about Jack ransacking your tent right now?"

Sawyer goes to his tent and asks Jack what he's doing. Jack holds up a prescription bottle and says, "You stole these from the hatch."

"They were in my stash when I left," Sawyer says. "I just took back what was mine."

Jack says the meds belong to all of them and Sawyer doesn't have a stash anymore. Sawyer asks for the pills back and Jack asks if he's threatening him.

Sawyer's Flashback - The Gag's Up

Sawyer is in bed with a beautiful woman and jumps out and says he has an appointment. He picks up his suitcase and it spills open to reveal stacks of money. "Oops, you weren't exactly supposed to see that," he says.

The woman, Cassidy, just laughs and says, "Are you serious? You just happen to have a suitcase full of cash? And you go to pick it up and the lock just happens to break?" She picks up some of the money and sees that it's not real.

Cassidy says that he should have done his homework. She didn't take anything from the divorce, so she's not even worth Sawyer's trouble. Then she asks Sawyer to show her what he does. She wants to learn how to con people.

Maid's Day Off

Sawyer puts his things back together after Jack's ransacking. Kate comes over and says, "I like what you've done with the place."

"Maid's day off," Sawyer says. Kate gives him a magazine that she got from the hatch because she knows he's running out of things to read. "Well as much as I'd like to learn to feather my hair, I lost my damn glasses on the raft."

Kate begins reading, "Ten ways to tell if he's a sensitive man."

Locke walks by and Sawyer says, "Now there's a sensitive man." Kate points out that Claire asked him to sleep down by her tent. "Come on," Sawyer says. "Locke's got himself needs, just like anyone else."

"Not everyone is like you, Sawyer," she says.

"I guess that's why old Jacko and Ana-Lulu didn't ask me to join their revolution," Sawyer says and Kate looks surprised. "What," he says, "you didn't hear about their little army? I guess I'm not the only one on the outs with the doc."
