Sayid is by himself on an unfamiliar stretch of beach. He looks at the photograph that Claire had found a few days earlier of the Iraqi woman. He turns the photograph over and reads the writing on the back. He looks down the beach and sees a wire, which he picks up. One end of the wire goes into the ocean, the other goes into the jungle.
