Guide Review - 'Lost': The Complete Second Season - The Extended Experience DVD
The bonus DVD is set up like the Orientation film and has three phases:
Phase 1
Fire + Water: Anatomy of An Episode begins with a look at the writers room. It's great to see these writers in action. Then we get a look at what happens next, setting up the locations, the art department, wardrobe, and make-up.
Lost: On Location shows some of the filming of the episode, with the directors and characters talking about what it was like.
The World According To Sawyer is a crack up. A bunch of Sawyer's nicknames together is hilarious and it's fun to see what the actors and creative team think about them as well.
Phase 2
Flashbacks that we didn't see. Two of Shannon's and one of Locke's.
Deleted Scenes: four. You can't beat unseen footage.
Bloopers: Need to laugh out loud? I can watch the bloopers section over and over again. The Lost actors and crew look like a great group to work with.
Promo: A Channel 4 promo that ran in the UK is included, because it was so dang good.
Phase 3
Lost Connections explores the connections and is interactive (and really fun!).
Mysteries, Theories and Conspiracies goes through some of the fan generated ideas.
Secrets From the Hatch begins with the idea of the hatch and how those ideas evolved.
