'Dharma Wants You' Cheat Sheet

Tips and Tricks to the 'Dharma Wants You' Tests

By Bonnie Covel, About.com

Even though I've titled this article "Dharma Wants You Cheat Sheet" I in no way think that you will be technically cheating by using these tips in tricks. The only way that these could be considered cheats is by the fact that you are reading them here rather than discovering them yourself. However, I do land on the side of the controversy that these cheats are an intended part of the game and not a computer work around.

Here is a list of "cheats" for the Dharma Wants You Alternate Reality Game.

Dharma Wants You Test One Cheat

Name: Pressurized Spatial Judgment Evaluation
Purpose: To assess your ability to recognize and arrange spatial patterns within a limited temporal envelope
Procedure: Arrange random shapes to form a solid square as fast as possible
Cheat: Stop time by pressing the space bar before you begin moving pieces and hold the space bar through the entire game
Cheat Clue: Pressurized Spatial sounds like Press Your Space

Dharma Wants You Test Two Cheat

Name: Broad Spectrum Knowledge Analysis
Purpose: To assess your academic faculties utilizing randomly selected queries from thematic data sets
Procedure: Pick the correct multiple choice answer for each of the 10 questions
Cheat: To get the answer for last question, press "i" and the correct answer will blink
Cheat Clue: The "i" in Analysis is underlined

Dharma Wants You Test Three Cheat

Name: Dexterity and Attentiveness Evaluation
Purpose: To assess adroitness within an increasingly unpredictable environment
Procedure: Move the Dharma logo around inside an octagon to avoid collision with four moving spheres. The logo may not touch the sides of the octagon or the spheres and the spheres move faster the longer the game goes on
Cheat: Once the test starts, type in "lento" to slow the spheres. You can repeatedly type in the word to slow the spheres until the timer reaches 100
Cheat Clue: In the video of Hans Van Eeghen released September 2, 2008, there are several corruptions that show a frame or two of black swans and numbers and letters. The numbers are 40 and 60 and the letters are B,P, and M. In music, 40/60 BPM is known as Lento.

Dharma Wants You Test Four Cheat

Name: Tangential Judgment Analysis
Purpose: To evaluate recruit capacity for creative problem solving
Procedure: Choose the best of four answers for each of the 10 questions
Cheat: Before answering the 10th question, type in "Mittelwerk" and the answer will be revealed
Cheat Clue: In the 9/9/08 video from Hans Van Eeghen on the home page of the Dharma Wants You site a frame comes up that displays a barcode. The barcode letters are: r-e-i-w-t-l-e-t-m-k, which can be de-scrambled to form Mittelwerk

Dharma Wants You Test 5 Cheat

Name: Numeric Projection Evaluation
Purpose: To test the volunteer's ability to forecast the concluding numeric value in a progression of numbers
Procedure: Analyze the pattern in the number sequence and determine which number comes next
Cheat: Decipher the source code in order to get the answer to number 7 correct
Cheat Clue: When you watch the Hans Van Eeghen video that was posted on 9/16/2008 there is a small white blinking square on the bottom right side of the screen. The Morse Code is translated to: The Cheat is in the Sequence, But the Sequence is the Answer.

Dharma Wants You Test 6 Cheat
