What "LOST: Reckoning" Tells Us

"Lost: Reckoning" was a clip show that showed a recap of what happened on the island during season one and up to episode 19 (S.O.S.) of season two. While it showed us nothing new, the clip show did give us some clues as to what to expect from the last four Lost episodes, including the season finale. Here's what we need to know (what they showed on the clip show) in order to understand the last four episodes:

• Pregnancy Test: This was the most interesting clip to me. What is important for us to know? That Sun is pregnant? I don't think so. I don't think Sun is going to give birth or lose the baby this season. What I think is important with this scene is that Kate talks about the pregnancy test and wonders why someone would have it on the plane, as if she is covering. Was Kate the one to bring the test on the plane and if so, why?

  Of all the upcoming plot threads this one piques my interest the most.

• Army: Jack talked to Ana-Lucia about forming an army (Ep: 2x11, The Hunting Party) and then the topic was dropped. Eight episodes later we have not heard anything more about an army. The fact that they showed that clip makes me think we will soon be seeing an army.

• Survivors vs. Others: Most of the clips centered around the struggle between our survivors and the Others. Thanks to Michael and Jack, we will learn a lot about the Others in the next few episodes.

As interesting as what they do show in the clip shows is what they don't show. Here are a few things they didn't go into detail on and so we probably won't get anymore answers about them this season:

• The Black Smoke
• Danielle Rousseau
• The Medical Hatch (Ep: 2x15, Maternity Leave)
• The Fake Beard and Clothing Kate Found (Ep: 2x15, Maternity Leave)

The calm has passed and the storm is here! May will be an exciting month for Lost, starting with "Two for the Road" on the 3rd.
