- Clue or coincidence? Kate gives her name as Lucy, which is the name of the girl Charlie was in love with and stole from (Ep: 1x15, Homecoming).
- The monster seemed to find Kate and Juliet, check them out, consider them not worthy, and leave.
Questions Raised by Left Behind
- Why did the monster leave Kate and Juliet after finding them, but then chase them again? Did the monster force Juliet to show her hand (that she had the key to the handcuffs)? The monster could have easily gotten them, why didn't it?
- Why didn't the smoke monster just go over the security fence like Kate, Sayid, Locke, and Rousseau had?
- Did the Others really leave Juliet, or is she a plant to get more information?
- What happened with Locke? What did they tell him? What happened with his father?
- As John pointed out (in the comments section), why did the Others have to leave their camp? Why couldn't they just keep prisoners if they didn't want Kate and Sayid to lead the other survivors back to the camp?
- What ever happened to Rousseau? Is she following the Others because they have her daughter?
