Complete Episode Guide: Episode 3x1, A Tale of Two Cities Guide

A Tale of Two Cities Clues

  • The Others have modern clothes and living arrangements.

  • Tom calls Ben "he" and "him" twice to Kate. I think this is a clue that Ben is the him, in other words, the man in charge.

  • Yet another hatch is found, The Hydra, yet, like the others it is not being used for it's original purpose.

  • The Hydra was used for sharks and dolphins (according to Juliet) and the cages Kate and Sawyer were in were used for bears (according to Tom).

  • Juliet looks very much like Desmond's girl, Penny Widmore.

A Tale of Two Cities Questions

  • Why would Henry even consider that there would be survivors? He said there might be survivors in the fuselage, but acted like he knew there would be survivors in the tail section. He was very quick to give instructions. Has something like this happened before? If so, how often has it happened?

  • The Others seem to live in a nice modern small town. Could this be the ? from the blast door diagram?

  • What happens when Jack, in his locked room, or Sawyer or Kate, in their cages, need to use the bathroom? I'm scared to think where they might be going.

  • Why didn't Jack recognize his father's number when he dialed it from Julie's phone? If she had it programed into her phone, what name did she put it under?

  • How did Danielle Rousseau never come upon this little town in the jungle?

  • Where's Alex?

  • Why didn't we see any children?

  • What was Juliet upset about in the beginning of the episode and will whatever she's doing with Jack give her a new sense of purpose?
