On the island, Libby encourages Hurley to get rid of his stash, which he does by dumping everything out onto the forest floor. They almost kiss, but a bunch of people run by saying they found something. Hurley and Libby follow the people to the food drop, where everyone begins arguing over the food. Hurley is shocked. They want him to be in charge of handing it out, but he adamantly says he won't do it.
Hurley sees Dave in his bathrobe and slippers and chases after him. Later he talks to Dave and Dave tells him that he's still in the hospital and that he's imagined the island and everyone on it. Dave tries to get Hurley to jump off a cliff, but Hurley doesn't do it. Libby finds him and talks him into believing that she and he and everyone on the island are real. They kiss and walk away from the cliff.
