'Lost' Role:
Hugo "Hurley" Reyes, the overweight, humorous, ready to help, but passes out at the site of blood, crash survivor.

Early Career:
He worked at Borders and also did commercials. His most notable commercial was for Jack in the Box. He was the guy with the paper hat who everyone thought was Jack.

He is of Chilean and Cuban descent.
Of Note:
Jorge loves stand-up comedy and music. He has a huge record collection. Because of Lost he hired a diet and fitness consultant to help him slim down, even though Hurley is getting some food. Also because of Lost, he missed his sister's wedding. Jorge was the first actor cast on Lost and the character, Hurley, was written specifically for him.
Jorge likes to play poker and plays with other cast members tournament style. They all put in 10 bucks.
Jorge is one of the nicest actors on the show and seems to really love the fans.
