May 23rd is a big night for Lost fans. The evening starts at 7 p.m. Eastern/Pacific with a two hour recap show to get all those who dropped off viewing but plan to watch the episode caught up. For the rest of us, it will serve as a reminder of what has happened on Lost.
Then from 9 to 11:30 the series will come to an end. There is so much to tell, the finale had to be extended to two and a half hours! After that, you can digest what you just saw during the local news, but then come back for Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost from 12:05 to 1:05.
What can you expect from Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost? Well, don't expect co-executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse to be there. They are going on "radio silence" after the show because they want "the show to speak for itself." They will not be answering any questions about the series anywhere.
But who you will see is Naveen Andrews (Sayid Jarrah), Nestor Carbonell (Richard), Alan Dale (Charles Widmore), Jeremy Davies (Daniel Faraday), Emilie de Ravin (Claire Littleton), Michael Emerson (Ben Linus), Matthew Fox (Jack Shephard), Daniel Dae Kim (Jin Kwon), Terry O'Quinn (John Locke) and Harold Perrineau Jr. (Michael Dawson) in studio and Evangeline Lilly (Kate Austen), Jorge Garcia (Hurley), and Josh Holloway (Sawyer) via tape or satellite feed.
Also, Jimmy Kimmel will feature an exclusive look at three alternate endings to Lost "from the minds of executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse."
I think Monday should be declared a holiday so that we can all rest up from the exciting Lost Sunday.

Nope, no comparison.
A part of me is glad that finally we’ll get the answers we were looking for the past five years, and a part is sad because there is no other show out there with this quality.
BTW, I would like to suggest a poll for funs. If the show leaves space for a follow-up how would you like that to be, as a movie or as a book? I know that a book can be converted to a movie later on but which format will you prefer first?
Hey, just wondering — do they publish non-canon fiction for Lost like they do for other Series? (I’m thinking those $5.99 paperback Star Trek novels in the cheap section of Barnes and Noble)

Wow….alternate endings. That in itself makes you scratch your head with even more questions!!! Sounds like most of us will be watch this finale over and over as well as Jimmy Kimmel! You’d better leave this site open a few months for lots of debate after this is over.

I am already getting depressed. Every Wednesday my Lost Co-workers and I have a round table discussion on the previous nights episode. Now what are we going to do… work.. ha
Well…Lost Girl… we can…
1) rehash the 4 endings and debate which is best
2) Switch to a new topic and start all over
3) “What if” LOST topics to death!
4) Go to our own island in the tropics and pretend we’re all “Lost”…lol

I hope this site stays up permanently! It’s much better than a lot of other viewer discussion sites. People will be watching LOST for years to come, and there will always be people who want to discuss the end, the mystery, what it all meant, etc.

you may want to update the lost calendar. you have jimmy kimmel starting on 5/23 at 12:05 so its technically monday may 24th, not sunday may 23rd. i was setting my PVR for the upcoming schedule so i realized the mistake. others may not and will end up recording one night early

Enjoy the pre-show catching up a bit. We will miss the only night of the week the whole family including teenagers would watch the same thing.Then DVR came along and we watched at different times.
Good ending and glad they did put an end,not a open end. Its been a good run for all.
