The actor who plays Jacob, Mark Pellegrino, is set to work on the CW's Supernatural playing Lucifer, but he should still have time to appear on Lost should the need arise.
What do you think? Is Jacob really dead?

Yes, Jacob is really dead; but he will rise again….maybe not in three days, though.
He may be dead physically, but I sure he lives on in someone else.
I’m sure Jacob~the Spirit of Jacob~isn’t dead. Perhaps, in his next incantation, he’ll appear as Boone~or Frank.
I think Jacob left a piece of Himself in all the Losties he touched and this is why they really all had to get back to the island – to somehow reconstitute Him.
