Want 'Lost' to Come to Disney World?
Alas, I wasn't very far into the article before I realized that this would never happen (though I do have to admit that I called my ABC contact just to be sure as my hope got the better of me). And sure enough, the author of the blog post has now come forward and confessed that there is no Lost attraction in the works. Bummer!
As much I would love a Lost attraction now, does it really have staying power? In 20 years when I take my grandchildren to Disney World would I enjoy a Lost attraction? Uh, probably, yes, but would my children and grandchildren? Chances are they will not be familiar with the story of Lost.
What do you think? Should Disney build a ride or experience around the hit TV show or should they focus their energies elsewhere?

I don’t see how a ride could really embody the Lost concept. Besides, I think it would trivialize the story. It reminds me of how Star Trek was done to death in the 1990s. Once I was a devoted Trek fan, but I’ve long since passed the regurgitation point and I’d hate to see that happen with Lost, too.
That’s so funny, Bonnie! Around this time last year, Wayne Henderson jokingly posed this question on his podcast. Here were some of my ideas for ” attractions” I sent him, if this ever did occur at Disney. Here’s the link if you want to check them out.

Those are great, Ms. Wendy. Here’s my idea for Disney:
They should have a land that changes each year or every couple of years and is themed around a major show or event that is big at the time but won’t be big forever. That way, we could have a ‘Lost’ land for a few years and then they could change it to something else.
It may not have rides, or just really generic rides, but it could be decorated according to the theme and have food and music that goes with that theme as well as entertainment.
Disney, are you listening?
Thank you , Bonnie.
I think that is a fantastic idea.
And for LOST, they don’t even have to get too fancy. Maybe have Hurley’s 2 hole, 3 par golf course, set up the dart board and ping pong table from The Swan and top it off with some boar and bananas at “Jacob’s Cabinteria and Gift Shoppe”
I think they change Soarin’ Over California to a ‘Lost’ plane ride/crash. Or maybe we could go over the island on Henry’s Hot Air Balloon and perhaps a ride on Desmond’s boat.
How about 10 min in the hatch with Sawyer!
YES!!!
