Someone's grandfather will be seen in the 7th episode of season 5. Not just any grandfather, but the grandfather of someone we know well.

So, is he Christian’s father?
I wonder if we are ever going to find out anything about Jack’s mother’s backstory. Where does she come from? Does she have an occupation? How did she occupy her time while Christian was out sowing his wild Australian oats?
I’m assuming he’s Christian’s father, but I don’t know for sure. Christian’s seems the most likely. Yeah, Jack’s mother’s backstory would be really interesting. Perhaps we’ll get a Christian flash back and learn more about her as well.
