- Season 4, Episode 1 is called The Beginning of the End.
- Because of the Writers Strike, the plans for Lost season 4 have changed.
- Season 4 will run on Thursday nights at 9 p.m.
- Originally Season 4 was set to begin in February and run without repeats until May. Now it looks like it will start January 31st and run 8 episodes.
- Previously, Lost was set to run until 2010 with 3 seasons of 16 episodes each. Now we may have a short season 4 and a long season 5.
- Lost adds new cast members for season 4.
- The season 3 DVD set was released December 11th.

I have to say, only 16 episode a year is a very sorry figure. Wish I hadn’t got interested in LOST now. And I know, without a doubt, I will never get interested in another series ever shown on ABC.
February premiere??AGGGGGHHH!
I don’t mind waiting until February. I even like the 16 episodes in a row which means no repeats and no breaks. The part I hate is if they change the night it airs — Wednesday is LOST nite. Monday my DVR is already full. DON’T CHANGE THE DAY IT AIRS!!
Since we’ve been so long without seeing the Lost episodes, I’m losing interest.
I love lost,but can`t believe that it isn`t on until Feb. why so long of a wait.Disappointed,but willing to wait.
Willing to wait, because it’s worth it. Disappointed in the 16 episodes for 3 years. While I hate for the show to end, 3 years before finding out what’s going on is too too long.
I have been an avid Lost fan from Episode One of Season One. I am very frustrated to learn that Lost won’t be returning until February. I have been trying and trying to find out when Season 4 was going to start. Has ABC lost it’s collective mind??? Their Fall Line-up sucks! The only thing I watch on ABC are Extreme Make Over-Home Edition and Lost. I may not even bother with it anymore!
It is very dissapointing to wait so long…
I have been in the move during these years, and even so, I have being able to watch LOST at Venezuela (in Spanish, seasons 1 & 2) and at Kuwait (in English, with Arabic subtitles, season 3!), but even with the normal delays due to translations or addition of subtitles, I am already watching Season 3 for the second time….. AND NO SIGNS OF THE NEW SEASON!?!?!….until Feb 2008!?!?!? it is a sad thing…..
Thanks to your web site, I now know when Lost will return! Initial reaction to February…NOOOOOOOOO!!! However, waiting until February is better news than hearing it’s been canceled. I love this drama! It’s the only one I watch, faithfully. I’m waiting for season 3 to come out on DVD and HOPE it will before the new season in February. I never watched this show until last Christmas, when I was given the first 2 seasons on DVD. I never left the TV for 3 days while I gorged on Lost. Thanks again,

All the stars of lost will be in jail by Feb, Monday night is Raw night Wednesday is for Lost. I’ve gotten along without laost this far so I guess I will continue to do without.
Lost… What show is that again? See I’m beginning to forget all about it. I hate this. Once it comes back on in Feb. then we only get 3 months, and then what we have to wait another year. I love the show, but come on how can ABC leave us in suspense for this long. Im going crazy. I need my Jack and Kate!
We host Lost party every week. It sucks when there is no show to watch.

I’ve been a LOST fan for 3 seasons, but am losing interest. 1st season was great. 2nd a bust. Third pretty good, but if the preview of number four holds true with after rescue sliding into depressive moods, I’m gone!
Can’t wait for “Lost” to begin again! It is getting a little weird, but that’s what keeps me coming back for more, oh yeah and Sawyer.too!!!

I love the lost show, I can’t wait for it to start. I really wish it would tell us a little more of what is going on so I won’t get so frustrated.I need my Jack and all the rest fix now. Six months in between is far to long to wait.
Weds nights for Lost is no longer such a good thing because Bionic Woman is also on that same night and that show is turning out to be GREAT!!!
Really? I watched the first couple of episodes, but never really got into it and I heard other people saying it wasn’t that good.
It must have gotten better over the last few weeks. Maybe I’ll get to check it out again, especially if they run reruns because of the strike.
I’ve been a dedicated Lost fan since the first episode, followed the web content and browsed the forums at least once a week or so… (even in the off season)… I was okay with the delay, as I was expecting even better and more polished content on Lost, and understand the difficulty in producing a show of the calibre of Lost…
But now it appears, the only loser in this writer’s strike, seems to be are people like me… I have been loyal to the show through their high and low ratings, but in a very general sence, the writers and the producers don’t seem to have any loyality to us…
I love lost i cant wait intill it comes back on in january i will never lose intrest of LOST it is the TV show ever
