Lost Will End!

Monday January 15, 2007
Lost will end, but no time soon. Lost producers are in talks with ABC to determine how many episodes total the series will run. This will help the writers and producers to know when to answer specific questions. I've heard Damon and Carlton, on more than one occasion, say that they don't want the show to go on as long as it's popular, they want it to end when it's time to end. They feel that The X-Files was a really great show and would have been even better had it ended two seasons earlier.

With a show like Lost, that brings up so many questions, many, that after being answered, will end the show, it's great for the producers to have an end date. Though I don't want the show to ever end, having it go on forever will mean that we never get the answers we seek. So I think it's a good thing that they are in talks to decide a specific end date. My guess is that Lost producers are going for around 4 seasons (which would mean next season would be the last), while ABC is going for something like 7 or 8.

As soon as they release the information on when Lost will end, I will let you know.
