I have to agree – the Lost-SPoilers yahoo group usually has archives of all the best stuff. (Extensive databases of all the Island residents; extensive links, etc.) – And it usually has any lost-scoop hours before it’s anywhere else.
The Yahoo group Lost_Spoilers is by far the best. It’s your true one-stop shop for all things Lost!
I ONLY visit the Lost Spoilers Yahoo group for all things LOST. Not to mention the great group of people!

In spite of how it looks, with all of us from the Lost-Spoilers Yahoo group, we are not just trying to over-ride the other sites…. we are simply stating the truth! It should be on this list because it truely is the best Lost site. Alot of inside info here. We have spoilers, photos, heads-ups on many things, and alot of accurate information. But you must have a sense of humor to go along with it! We have alot of fun.
I am also a member of the Yahoo Lost Spoilers group. They are a great bunch of people. And unlike so many groups out there, they have a sense of humor, about themselves and our favorite show. It’s so much fun!! I’ve learned more about a multitude of topics since I joined a few weeks ago. You just never know what might pop up there on any given day, and with over 5000 post last month alone, there’s a whole lot of popping going on!!
Ditto on the Lost Spoilers group. They’re a chatty lot, but I don’t have to search for all the best spoilers – they’re all there in one place.
I LOVE Lost-Spoilers… they have the best info, and are usually the quickest!
I agree that Yahoo Lost_Spoilers is a great group. I am a lurker there, but I enjoy reading them.
I love it..The Lost_Spoilers group is like one stop shopping!..Lots of fun people and different theories as to what is happening.
Hey, Lost-Spoilers, I really wish I could add you to the contest, but it’s too late and it would be against the rules. I have, however, added the group to my “LOST sites” page and I’ve joined the group myself (sounds awesome!). Next year I’ll make sure you all know about the contest so that someone can nominate the site, and then you can all vote and maybe the site will be the 2007 winner!

I agree about the lost spoilers yahoo group. I only stumbled upon them a few months ago and I quit all the other lost groups after i found I liked this one the best. It’s a great group of people who really care and they always have the info and links on Lost.

Something looks absolutely fishy about these numbers. We only knew about this poll AFTER it was over. at around 40 thousand visitors today, I somehow think thetailsection could have done a little better if we could have promoted the poll… definitely the same for thefuselage. Cripes.

Losties group is numba one.. Tail section would have been numba ne but they shot their reputation when they let misfit on..
thetailsection.com used to be my favorite, until the addition of this misfit guy as a poster. They tried to play it off as some sort of comedy thing but all it managed to do was turn me off to them. I had subscribed to their RSS feed, but I’ve since taken them off. Hope you’re reading this guys. I’d love to come back.

You’re missing out on Dharmasecrets. Quite possible the best one out there. So secluded yet so popular. The layout is easy, the people or friendly and everyone in there is very close. We’re very easy on newbs and gladly refer people who have a question about a certain something. We have great subtopics such as chit chat filled with fun games to keep us entertained until season 3 starts. A play by play on whats going on with the Lost Experience. Spoiler sections, Fan fics, and the admin gives out free blogs to whoever wants it. The theory section is filled with excellent theories and we’re home to alot of intellegent posters. But, as Ive mentioned, the best part is that everyone is so close with one another that must of us refuse to join another board. YAY FOR DHARMASECRETS.

I have to agree with my co-posters – DharmaSecrets is an awesome forum with the funniest and smartest Lost fans I’ve found, and I’ve cruised pretty much all of the sites in the poll. It’s my favorite.
Add dharmasecrets.com, it’s a great site but the only problem is that our admin is a damn —– (edited by moderator) for warning a member named “where100″ geez. but overall its a great site.
Well, it sure looks like you should add a few sites, like the yahoogroup and dharmasecrets and run the poll again. This time post it at the nominee’s forum, before the poll is closed! I think all involved would really like to see which one is the BEST!
Oh and to be more fair even, only allow one vote per person.

I think it’s very unfair that all the formum were never advised of this ‘poll’. That was the forum’s users would get to vote too! It’s clearly very biased. Also one vote per person would be better – or at most one vote per forum.
How can you call the poll fair when most of the forums had no idea that it was even taking place? Clearly there was an organized effort by 415162328 to get out the vote. The fact that the two largest forums (Tailsection and fuselage) recieved zero votes should clue you in that the results are skewed. Let’s vote again and everyone will see that The Tailsection is the best by a mile…even with the misfit posting every once in a blue moon (honestly guys, I don’t even notice his presence…it is more than safe to come on back)!
The tailsection is by far the best. I shopped around once the ARG started and it is where i landed. By the way kel I havent seen more than a handful of posts by the misfit so dont worry about him and come back to the fun, you know you want to.

Hi, all. Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions. I thought I’d chime in here and let you know what’s going on.
The poll was created based on nominations. If it wasn’t nominated, I didn’t include it. I went to each site and posted a message about the poll. Some sites deleted my posts, claiming they were advertising my site. Some sites I wasn’t actually able to make a post, in which case I let the site managers know.
Some sites did rally to get their members to vote, and they were allowed to vote more than once.
In the 2007 vote, only one vote will be allowed per IP address.
Be sure to check back for the 2007 votes, which will happen in May. To be sure not to miss it, sign up for my newsletter (at the top of this page by my picture).
You’ve mentioned some great sites, which I will check out and see about adding to my fan sites list, if they are not already there.

Those of us at TheTailSection.com found your poll unfair since it was not advertised on all the nominated forums so we were not aware of how to vote on it. Either make all forums aware or remove your poll. Your results will be slanted because of this.
tail section- above and beyond. unless your goal is to produce the false impression of success for one site, disclose your effort to all “invovled”. you have nothing to establish your credibility by neglecting to include all participants and consequently advertising false statistics.
IF, again i say IF, I would’ve known about this “poll”, I definately would’ve voted for the tailsection…Other sites are ok, but the people here enjoy and respect each others opinions and comments. So I gotta say that this was skewed, and site admins should have been made aware of this “poll” better than the claims say that they were. Spoon03331
Obviously, someone on the numbers forums set up a bot to vote that many times.
But that’s cheating… There’s now way they have 24000 different people voting for that site.

The next time you run a poll, try notifying all the candidates first. The Tailsection.com members were not even aware you nominated their site. These results are about as reliable as the presidential voting results in Florida.

Lostaway Bonnie, one last thought. Next time e-mail the site administrators to notify them of their nomination and then THEY can post the info on their sites.
Had I known about this poll prior to the 5/18 closing date, I most assuredly would’ve cast my vote for TSS…
I would certainly have voted for The Tailsection.com if I had known about this poll earlier. It’s a shame that us “tailies” weren’t given a fair chance to vote for our favorite Lost realted site. If it weren’t for The Tailsection.com I would have given up on The Lost Experience a long time ago.

I agree with above posters…we at the tail section were never notified of the poll. We of course would’ve flocked here to post our opinions, but we couldn’t…hense the slanted voting. Regardless of what the actual numbers say, this thread should reflect the actual winner…the tail section…
What the flapippin’ flip? I had absolutely no clue that this thing was going on until a month later so why would it only be made public now? it isnt fair that we at TheTailSection were unable to vote. It should be made public to those who are included before such a poll is set.

TheTailsection.com is by far the most comprehensive and well laid out site out there… ESPECIALLY for the ARG this summer… plain and simple… hope you all enjoy scrolling through pages and pages of BS on some of these other forums, and when you do, come on over to TTS and enjoy organized discussion…

The Tail Section is the most organized and well run forum I have visited. It is easy to follow along day to day, and by far the easiest site to go back and research information from a week or a month ago. And the people are intelligent, friendly and funny! Its great for new fans and die-hard lost-a-holics.
This really is a disgrace. If someone would have NOTIFIED us that we were even in the running for a poll, we would have voted. This is all shenanigans!
The Tail Section is the best Lost forum out there. Everyone is very nice and welcoming, unlike OTHER sites that make you feel like yesterday’s rotten meat.
