Abrams Says "Greatest Finale I Have Ever Heard"

J.J. Abrams, LOST's co-creator, has taken some time off to direct Mission Impossible III. J.J. told Sci Fi Wire, "The ending of this year in Lost blows the ending of last season out of the water." He says that what Damon has come up with for the ending has been building since the beginning of the season and the ending is "not out of the blue, but what happens at the very end of this year, for me, it's the greatest finale I have ever heard!"

Those are some pretty bold statements, but based on J.J., Damon, and Carlton's previous work, I have to say that I believe him. Now I'm stuck between wanting to see what happens in the finale and not wanting the season to end.
