Michelle Rodriguez Goes to Jail

Michelle Rodriguez (Ana-Lucia) pleaded guilty to drunk driving charges in Hawaii yesterday, says Celebrity Gossip Guide, Diana Mimon. She chose five days in jail over 240 hours of community service. Michelle was arrested in 2004 on a previous DUI charge. If she is found guilty of violating her parole she could have to serve an additional 16 months! Perhaps we won't be seeing much of Ana-Lucia in season three.
Michelle will be on Live with Regis and Kelly on May 5th.

I think this says a lot about Michelle’s character and it’s not a positive reflection. The purpose of Community Service is to pay back the community for the crime you committed and in which you endangered the community. Clearly she cares nothing for the Hawaiian community. She’s decided to take the easy way out. She could have done a lot talking to Hawaii’s youth about the dangers of drunk driving, for example. She really got off easy. I would have given her jail time and community service. I hope the LOST producers have had their fill of her and her antics and that her character meets a timely end before the season is over.
Michelle’s lawyer is claiming that since she is so famous now it would be hard for her to do community service because there would be too many onlookers. Sounds like an excuse to me, but who knows?
Since people only get caught 1 time out of every 10 offenses, I bet that there are a few unsolved hit and runs that she was too drunk to remember.
I want her off the road permanently. Her fame mostly comes from her poor acting and her infringing on the rights of others. If she didnt have acting, she would be working for a collection agency.
